Lunchtime Kōrero - Crafting Your Academic Identity: Self-Branding for Research Careers In-Person

Take a break and widen your research horizon by listening to a 20-to-30-minute talk followed by Q&A and networking over tea, coffee and biscuits! Every first Wednesday of the month, tea and coffee will be provided. We encourage you to bring your own cup (however paper cups will be available if you forget).

Te Kura Tāura - Lunchtime Kōrero: Crafting Your Academic Identity: Self-Branding for Research Careers.

Join Dr Gemma Bridge, visiting Research Fellow from the University of Leeds and Director of Bridge Research Limited as she explores the benefits of having a clear, consistent personal/ professional brand including use of social media (e.g. X and LinkedIn); and share some tips for developing an 'elevator pitch' to communicate 'your brand' effectively at conferences, seminars, and in networking situations.
